Why scientists must communicate well?

Because we need to make our ideas clear and easily understood. Communicating your science effectively can impact funding decisions and legislations that affect our society and livelihoods. You can learn and master presentation skills.

Two-day Workshop

Our workshop will equip researchers with practical strategies for preparing and delivering compelling scientific presentation for a broad, scientifically literate audience.

You will:

Day 1

Learn about narratives and persuasion. Storify your own science and discover ways to create storylines that resonate with your audience.

Day 2

Learn basic design principles relevant to visual elements in science. Discover inspirations and create authoritative and visually powerful slides yourself.

Speak to incite curiosity.

Not to cram more data on a slide.

What Our Participants Say

“It is a great paradigm shift for us; our ideas on what we should put into our slides have completely been reversed.”

“I think the seminar is extremely inspiring, and I feel the urge to run back to my computer to work on my slides!”

Workshop Objectives

Let your science shine on stage and leave a footprint in people’s minds and hearts.
